Here is an excelent example of a c1959 Knight Upright
Piano. This instruments were first produced in 1936 by Alfred E.
Knight. They are a highly prized respectable British maker of Pianos
made at the Laughton factory. They were the only other make of piano
besides Steinway in Steinway Hall London. This fine example for sale is
from 1959. In
their advertising Knight stated that the spruce they use on their
soundboards is the same as that of the Stradivarius violin. For more
