Knight Pianos were first produced in 1936 by Alfred E.
Knight. They are a highly prized respectable British maker of Pianos
made at the Laughton factory. They were the only other make of piano
besides Steinway in Steinway Hall London. The best years of production
was between 1960 and 1985 before they were taken over. This fine example
for sale is from 1972 - the pinnacle of high quality production. In
their advertising Knight stated that the spruce they use on their
soundboards is the same as that of the Stradivarius violin. For more
