I am Matthew
Richards based in Wolverhampton,
West Midlands. I am proficient in playing the banjo
ukulele, keyboard, piano and violin. I
perform at Residential homes, clubs, stage and theatres. I specialise in George
Formby’s music,
Old Time Melodies, (Al Jolson etc), well known War
time and nostalgic
music hall
favourites.
I
am a member of the George Formby Society and appear on stage in Blackpool, at the
Winter Gardens, also being a member of the band. I have also featured on the
Adrian Goldberg show (BBC Radio WM, and Radio Shropshire, Sky
News, and performed for the Mayor of Hereford.

My
standard repertoire includes the hits of George Formby, War
time and well known
sing-alongs including Musical Hall and other thirties and forties favourites.
Whether
you want a traditional sing-along party with your old favourites and the music
from Memory Lane, or are organising a special event, I can perform for a
specific length of time at your request.
My
normal performance duration is between
1 and 1˝
hours.
I
generally negotiate
my
fees depending on duration and type of event. (please ask for further
information.)
I am
also available for
special occasions, such as charity events, fetes and galas, as well
as
nostalgia
celebrations. I am (CRB) Registered to work in
with vulnerable adults or children
